Alcohol addiction, Cigarette addiction, Vape addiction, Medication addiction, Drug addiction, Exercise addiction, Shopping addiction, Violence addiction, Gambling addiction, Sex addiction, Work addiction, Food addiction etc. etc. etc.
You become an addict as soon as you create a Rule in your Subconscious Mind that says ‘My life is better when I do my (select from above list) Addiction’. The Gambling addiction has a small variation ‘My life will be better when I win’. Either way you see your life as being sub standard compared to when you are involved in your addiction. The worse you think your life is the worse the addiction.
Time to look at how you perceive your life. Your perception and actual reality may be different.
Ask yourself “What don’t I like about my life?” – Make a list.
Ask yourself “What don’t I like about my self?” – Make a list.
Then for every item on the lists, ask yourself “Why don’t I like this?”.
Just ask the questions, the answers will turn up.
