19 How to get rid of Depression

Depression is the path you choose when you press the ‘Pause’ button on life. You do a partial shutdown of your Conscious and Subconscious Minds. The severity of the shutdowns can be anywhere from mild (sub clinical) to severe (anybody can see it). You choose the Pause button because of the types of Rules you created in your Subconscious as well as a large accumulation of unprocessed experiences that keep popping into your head demanding attention. Yo don’t press the pause button for some quiet mental time. You press the Pause button so you can start processing your stuff in a more controlled and manageable environment.

How to get started – the first one will probably be the most challenging.

Day 1. Pick an experience/memory from you Subconscious yuck pool.
How do you feel about this e.g. sad, angry, fearful, hurt, rejected etc.
Note the intensity of the feeling e.g. low, medium, high, extreme etc.
Ask yourself – What don’t I understand about this experience?
Ask yourself – Why do I feel this way about it?

Day 2. Pick the same experience from Day 1.
How do you feel about this e.g. sad, angry, fearful, hurt, rejected etc.
Note the intensity of the feeling e.g. low, medium, high, extreme etc.
Ask yourself – What don’t I understand about this experience?
Ask yourself – Why do I feel this way about it?
Repeat for Day 3 …….

Day X. When your answer to ‘how do you feel about this’ comes back as “ho hum” or “so, so” you have Processed the experience and moved it from your Subconscious to your understanding Superconscious Mind. Time to move onto the next one. Once the process is understood the time frame to process each experience may come down to hours or minutes. The more you process the quicker the Depression lifts.
